Free Premiership Football (incl Pay Per View)

You may not have realised the FA sells almost every premiership football match overseas to countries such as China, USA etc. Most of these games are available over the internet using streaming video via P2P (peer to peer) networks.
The FA wants to encourage us in the UK for fork out over £50 to see a live premiership match. Football is no longer a working class sport and you need to have few grand spare each year see the games. I am myself an Arsenal fan (and off course I follow my local AFC Bournemouth) and have this year tried get tickets to see a match.Â
Before I can buy tickets for an Arsenal match I had to get a membership. I paid £30 to become a red member!!!
I thought that’s ok. It’s a one off payment this season and I would like to see Arsenal at the new Emirates Stadium.Â
I next tried to get some tickets for a couple of the Gunners games. The first hurdle – I am not a season ticket holder. I had to wait until season ticket holders completed their allocation. So I tried again a few weeks later. This time, only Silver members could get tickets. I think silver members had to pay a ludicrous amount of money each year to be kept on a waiting list for a season ticket! I think there is over a 10 year wait!Â
Eventually the tickets were available for red members. Excellent. I went online to buy a couple of tickets, for my wife and myself.Â
You would never believe that I had to have TWO memberships to get two tickets! You can only buy one ticket per membership! That would cost me £60 before the season had even started and it still would not guarantee tickets. I phoned and asked if they did a cut down membership that didn’t come with the dvd, mouse mat etc so that I would pay say £15 for a membership but they do not do this!!!Â
At this point I gave up. What is the point of forking out £60 to be given the “chance†to get some tickets? I looked at tickets prices and they range upwards from £40 per game. Ouch! I thought that my local League 2 team was expensive at £20…
I did subscribe to Setanta last year allowed it to continue this year but after they hiked their prices up almost 25% from £9.99 to £12.99 I decided cancel (another long story!).
I now watch every Arsenal game online – unless it is on Skysports.
Using the following software you are not just restricted to Premiership matches. You can get most live sports – be it Pay per view Boxing, NFL, NBA, Golf etc You can also get the latest movies that are not even out in this country.Â
Some channels will broadcast in English, some in English and with Chinese sub titles and some are in Chinese only.Â
I also use the forums at http://www.freefootball.org before every game to determine which are the bestquality streams.
